My allergies are acting up badly this season and i used to take claritin before. Now that im pregnant im scared to take anything. Planning to check with my doctor but wanted to know if anyone here has taken it during pregnancy?
When I had allergies my doctor did say certain antihistamines are used in pregnancy under guidance, but she chose the one and dose for me. Please dont go by general info online, your doctor knows your history best.
Honestly I would not take any allergy medicine without asking the doctor, even the common ones. Mine told me which one is okay for me specifically, so please just call your gynac before taking it.
This is really a doctor question, not a forum one. A quick call to your gynac and they will tell you yes or no in two minutes. Better safe than sorry with any medicine.
