We stay on 3rd floor no lift, so i climb up and down many times a day. First trimester and everyone at ghar keeps warning me to be careful. Is it actually risky or am i overthinking?
My gynac said normal stair use is actually good light movement, like walking. I avoid doing it fast or carrying heavy stuff up though. As long as doc cleared you for activity, you're good.
It's safe, dont worry. Elders at home actually say light climbing keeps you active. Just hold the rail and take your time. If your doctor said anything specific, follow that na.
For most it's okay, but if you have any complication like low placenta or bleeding history, ask your gynac first. In my case doctor told me to limit stairs, so it depends person to person.
Haan it's fine in a normal pregnancy, I climbed stairs daily till the end. Just go slow, hold the railing and dont rush. If you feel dizzy or breathless, stop and rest.
Dont overthink it. Climbing stairs carefully is perfectly fine, just dont jump steps or hurry. Listen to your body, if you're tired take a break midway. You'll be okay.
