Is clitoral stimulation safe during early pregnancy?
Im 9 weeks and a bit nervous about intimacy in these early days. Dont want to do anything that risks the baby. Is this part ok in first trimester or should we wait? thoda awkward to ask my gynac directly.
I used to overthink this so much and worry if any little contraction would harm the baby! It is generally safe in early pregnancy, but please stop immediately and call your doctor if you feel any strong cramps or see any spotting.
I felt the exact same hesitation and anxiety during my first few weeks. My doctor reassured me it's totally fine, but I kept it very gentle because my body felt so sensitive.
It is usually safe unless your doctor has advised complete pelvic rest. However, if you experience even a tiny bit of bleeding or severe pain, please don't ignore it and check with your gynac immediately.
After going through IVF, I was extremely cautious about everything and chose to avoid it in the first trimester for my own peace of mind. It is technically safe, but if you have a sensitive pregnancy or any spotting, please discuss it openly with your doctor.
