everyone at ghar keeps giving me nariyal pani and the soft coconut malai. i actually like it but wondering is it really good or just a myth? anyone know?
Oh it is amazing, especially the water! I am in my 9th month and literally surviving on nariyal paani to fight this horrible heartburn. The fresh coconut meat is also great for sudden hunger pangs when you are too tired to cook.
I've heard so much about how coconut water is great for pre-pregnancy health too. Is it true that we should drink it early morning on an empty stomach? Planning to start this habit soon!
Bilkul achha hai, eat it without any second thoughts. Nariyal is rich in healthy fats and coconut water prevents dehydration. Bas limit mein khao, excess of anything is bad, cold milk or water is also good.
Coconut was my absolute favorite snack because I had zero energy to prep anything else! Now with a newborn, I barely get time to eat, but during pregnancy, chewing on raw coconut actually helped with my constant nausea.
I've been eating raw coconut with jaggery lately, my MIL says it's great for strength. But does anyone know if we should avoid it at night? Sometimes it feels a bit heavy on the stomach.
Coconut is great, both the water and the fruit. It's packed with electrolytes and helps keep bloating in check. I had coconut water almost every day of my pregnancy and it really helped with acidity.
