My mom keeps giving me fresh coconut and that soft malai inside, says its good for the baby's skin and all. Im in my 5th month and just want to be sure its actually fine to eat regularly. Anyone heard the same?
Beta coconut malai is fine in small amount, our elders always said it's good for the baby's skin and all. But dont overdo, too much can feel heavy. Everything in moderation na.
Oh I loved coconut malai during pregnancy, so soft and yummy. Totally safe in normal amounts, just dont finish a whole coconut in one sitting like I almost did haha.
It's natural and okay generally, but I had to watch sugar so I kept fruits and coconut measured. If your sugar is normal then a little malai is fine, just dont have it daily in big amounts.
We eat tender coconut and malai a lot here and it's considered cooling and nice. I had it through pregnancy, just keep the quantity normal. If you have any sugar issue then ask your doctor first.
