Im around 6 weeks and my mom keeps sending me coconut water every morning saying its good for the baby. I do like it but wanted to know if its actually ok this early or just an old wives thing.
Coconut water is fine and actually nice for hydration. Both pregnancies I had it in the mornings. No need to treat it like medicine though, normal water and food still matter most.
It is good but just a heads up it does have natural sugar. I had GD so I had to count it, for me one small fresh one was okay. If your sugar is normal you are fine, but check with doc if you have GD.
Fresh tender coconut water is a good light option, mild on the stomach when nausea hits. Avoid the packaged sugary ones. Anyway your gynac knows your reports so a quick ask never hurts.
Drink it yaar, it is one of the safe nice things. Helped me a lot when food wasnt going down. Dont stress about every sip just keep it fresh and natural.
Haan it is good, I drank nariyal pani almost daily in my early months. It kept me fresh and helped with that morning queasy feeling. Just dont overdo, one a day is plenty.
