I'm a total coffee person and now im 9 weeks in. My saas keeps saying chhod do completely but i really miss my morning cup. Is one cup actually harmful or am i overthinking?
I had a normal delivery and honestly, I didn't completely cut off coffee. I just stuck to one cup of light cappuccino in the morning. Keep it under 200mg and you are good to go, enjoy your pregnancy!
Actually yaar, coffee is not fully banned, but you have to limit it. I used to crave it like crazy, so my doc said max one small cup a day is fine. Just don't go overboard, okay?
It is always best to check with your gynac because everyone's body reacts differently. My doctor strictly asked me to avoid caffeine in the first trimester. Better to be safe and get a direct clearance from your doctor.
During my pregnancy, I noticed my baby would get super active and kick a lot if I had strong coffee, so I switched to decaf. It's safe in moderation, but try to observe how your body feels after having it. Now while breastfeeding, I still keep it light.
Beta, too much coffee produces heat in the body, which is not good for the baby. Instead of coffee, drink some fresh coconut water or buttermilk, or hot milk with a little kesar. It is much safer and healthier for both of you.
