Its so hot these days and i really crave a cold pepsi sometimes. Im in my second trimester. Is the odd cold drink ok or totally avoid? curious what others do.
Okay the cold drink craving is so real in summers, I feel you. I allowed myself a small glass once in a while and didnt feel guilty. Just dont go overboard, balance it with healthier drinks.
An occasional cold drink wont harm but honestly its just sugar and caffeine, not great. I had one rarely when I really wanted, otherwise stuck to fresh juice and nimbu pani. Don't make it a daily habit.
Because of my sugar issues I cut out cold drinks fully, they spike sugar a lot. Even if you don't have GD, the soda has zero benefit. I'd say have water, coconut water or lassi instead.
