Is complication increases in conceiving if delay for long time?
We married late and now both of us are in our late 30s, planning to start a family. Im a bit worried if delaying this long will make things harder or risky. anyone conceived later and can share how it went?
I took years and went through IVF, so i understand this fear deeply. Yes, fertility and some risks can change with age, but please dont let that statistic crush you, so many women conceive later just fine. The best thing is to see a fertility specialist early rather than worrying alone.
Age can add some risk, both for conceiving and during pregnancy, that is the honest reality. But it is very manageable with proper monitoring and a good doctor. If it has been a while, please consult a gynac or fertility doc instead of just waiting and hoping.
With my PCOS i was scared delay would make everything worse. What i learnt is yes timing matters somewhat, but each body is different and there is real help available. Getting evaluated early gave me clarity instead of constant fear, i would gently suggest the same.
I totally understand the anxiety behind this question, the waiting is so hard. While there can be a slight increase in some risks over time, it really is not a doomed situation at all. Please be kind to yourself and let a specialist guide you, that helps more than worrying.
Honestly yes age plays some role but it is not the whole story, lifestyle and health matter too. The practical move is not to panic but to get checked up if conceiving is taking long. Knowing your actual situation beats guessing any day.
