Is conceiving male child allowed in india through ivf?
We are considering ivf and some relatives keep talking about choosing the baby's gender. Honestly im not even sure what the rules are here in india. Can someone clarify whats actually allowed and whats not?
Plainly, no. It is against the law in India to choose the baby's sex, IVF or otherwise. A boy or girl, a healthy baby is what matters. Anyone claiming they can do it is breaking the rules.
We did IVF and the doctors clearly said gender selection isnt permitted in India, its banned. They focus only on a healthy pregnancy. I know the family pressure can be a lot, but please dont go anywhere that promises this, its not legal.
No, sex selection is illegal in India. Choosing the baby's gender during IVF is not allowed by law here, clinics cannot do it. Any genuine doctor will tell you the same.
Beta this is not permitted in our country and rightly so. Whatever the baby is, it will be your blessing. Focus your energy on a safe pregnancy and trust your doctor for the rest.
