Since this week im going to the bathroom like every hour, even at night which never used to happen. My period is due in few days and im wondering if this is an early sign. Anyone else had this before testing positive?
My doctor explained that early on its the hormone hcg increasing blood flow to the kidneys that makes you pee more. Later the growing uterus presses the bladder. She said if there is burning or pain though, get a urine test for infection.
Yes for me I felt like I was running to the loo every hour in early days. It was one of my first clues actually. But I confirmed it with a test, not just by this.
It can be an early sign because of hormones, both times I peed a lot. But frequent urination can also mean a UTI, so dont assume only pregnancy. If theres burning or pain, get a urine test.
