I add dhania to almost everything i cook and someone mentioned it's actually good during pregnancy. Im in my second trimester now. Is that true, does it help?
We use kothmir in almost everything at home and its lovely for digestion. My mother says it cools the body. As a normal food ingredient its absolutely fine in pregnancy, just rinse it properly. Only avoid going overboard with concentrated juices of it.
Coriander leaves are fine and a nice way to add flavour without extra salt or sugar, which helped me. Use it freely in cooking. Just dont rely on any herbal coriander water as some medicine type thing, normal food use is what is good.
Yes, normal cooking amounts of coriander leaves are totally fine and even good, it has iron and vitamins. I used it in dal, sabzi, chutney all through pregnancy. Just wash it really well since leafy stuff holds a lot of mud and germs.
Haan it is good, we put dhaniya in our daily food only. It helps with gas and gives taste. Bas wash it nicely two three times. Eating it the normal way is no problem at all beti.
