My MIL keeps making dalia for breakfast almost daily and im in first tri. Its light so i actually like it, but just wanted to confirm its ok to have regularly? anyone?
I am in my 2nd trimester and I eat sweet dalia almost every morning! It keeps my stomach clean and light. Are others also eating it daily? I always worry if I am eating too much of the same thing.
Dalia is super safe and actually tastes amazing if you make it like a spicy vegetable khichdi with lots of ghee! When I crave something warm and comforting but healthy, vegetable dalia is my absolute go-to.
Haan baba, dalia is 100% safe and actually highly recommended. It is packed with fiber which helps with that annoying pregnancy constipation. Cook it with veggies or milk and eat it without any second thoughts.
Dalia (broken wheat) is highly safe as it is a complex carb rich in dietary fiber and iron. My gynecologist actually advised me to eat it to keep my blood sugar levels stable and prevent gestational diabetes. It's a great choice.
Of course it is safe. I ate dalia throughout both of my pregnancies. It is light on the stomach, easy to digest, and gives sustained energy. Just don't overthink every basic food, eat normal home-cooked meals.
