Got a blocked nose and bad cold since 2 days and someone at home handed me dcold. I didnt take it because im 9 weeks pregnant and got scared. Did anyone check with their doc about this?
Please dont take D Cold or similar combination cold tablets on your own in pregnancy. These have ingredients that arent recommended without doctor approval. Call your gynac, they will give a safe option for your cold.
When I had a bad cold I didnt touch any over the counter tablet, I just asked my doctor. She gave me something safe and told me to use steam and rest meanwhile. So please check with your gynac before taking D Cold.
For a mild cold I leaned on steam, warm fluids and rest rather than tablets. But if it is heavy with fever, dont self medicate with D Cold, see your gynac. They will tell you what is actually safe for you.
