Is diarrhea a sign of ectopic pregnancy?
Im very early, around 5 weeks, and having loose motions since yesterday along with some discomfort on one side. I read something online and now im a bit panicky about ectopic. Has anyone experienced this, im going to call my doc.
Diarrhea alone isnt a typical sign, but ectopic usually shows as sharp one sided pain, shoulder tip pain or unusual bleeding. I had an ectopic and the pain was the real warning. If you have severe pain or bleeding, please go to the doctor immediately, dont wait.
My gynac explained ectopic mainly shows as one sided pelvic pain and abnormal bleeding, sometimes dizziness. Diarrhea can just be a tummy upset. But if you are early pregnant and have strong pain, get an urgent scan done.
This is one of those things you must not guess about. If theres severe pain or you feel faint, please get to a doctor fast. Better to rule it out properly.
