Was given a suppository for back pain at the hospital and only later i saw it was diclofenac. Now im worried since im 20 weeks. Want to ask my doctor but thought id check if anyone here was given the same.
I would not use any NSAID painkiller during pregnancy without my doctor specifically okaying it. There are safer alternatives they prescribe. Please check with your gynac before using this.
Please dont use that painkiller on your own, that group is generally avoided especially in later pregnancy. When I had pain my doctor gave me a safer option. Always ask your gynac before any painkiller now.
That type of anti inflammatory is usually not recommended in pregnancy, particularly the third trimester. Doctors prefer other pain relief that is pregnancy safe. Dont self use it, just ring your gynac for the right one.
