Im in my 9th month and woke up today with mild body ache and slight fever feeling. My MIL is saying just take dolo but i feel scared to take anything this close to delivery. Will ask my gynac also but wanted to know if anyone took it in last month?
Doctors do commonly allow paracetamol in pregnancy, but in the 9th month I would not take even that on my own. Just a quick call to your gynac and she will tell you yes or no in a second. Better safe at this stage.
Please dont self decide in the last month. If you are having fever or pain, that itself needs to be told to your doctor, not just the medicine question. Ring your gynac, especially so close to your due date.
I wont say take it or not, I am not a doctor. I can only share that when I had fever my gynac herself prescribed it during pregnancy. Please just call your doctor before taking anything this close to delivery.
