I know raw papaya is a no no but what about the dried one they put in mixed dry fruits? Accidentally ate some today and now thoda tension. Is it different or same thing?
I just had my baby last month and my doctor strictly told me to avoid papaya throughout my pregnancy. Dried versions often have concentrated sugars and could still be unsafe, so I skipped them entirely.
Beta, traditionally we strictly avoid papaya during pregnancy, whether dry or fresh, as it is considered 'hot' for the body. Stick to safe fruits like apples, pomegranates, or soaked almonds.
I was reading about this recently since we are trying to conceive. I heard papaya is not recommended during pregnancy, so I guess dried papaya is also best avoided. Better to be safe!
Honestly, any form of papaya can be risky because of the latex content which can cause contractions. Please check with your gynac before consuming any dried fruits like this.
