Everyone in my family keeps handing me nariyal pani saying its good for the baby and the water. Im in 2nd trimester now. Just curious if its actually beneficial or just a thing elders say?
Oh yes, nariyal pani was my daily thing. Family says it keeps the baby's skin good, doctor just said it's good hydration and electrolytes. Fresh one is best. I really enjoyed it in the hot months.
I used to have it after my evening walk, felt so refreshing and helped with the cramps. Natural electrolytes na, much better than sugary drinks. Fresh tender one is the way.
Mostly good, but it does have natural sugar so with my gestational diabetes I kept it limited and checked with my doctor. If your sugar is normal, enjoy it, just don't go overboard.
It's great for hydration and easy on the stomach, I had it almost daily. Just go for fresh tender coconut, not the packaged sugary versions. One a day is plenty.
