My MIL keeps making drumstick sambar and saying its very good for me, but then i read somewhere online that maybe its not great in pregnancy. Now im confused. Im in my 4th month. Is it actually safe to eat?
Beta drumstick sabzi and soup are very nourishing, we always gave it to pregnant ladies. The cooked drumstick is good. Just be careful not to take any concentrated drumstick supplements without asking the doctor.
We use drumstick a lot in sambar at home and my amma said its very good, full of iron and calcium. I had it cooked well throughout and my gynac was fine with it. Just avoid the bark or any random remedies, stick to the normal cooked vegetable.
I had drumstick regularly, its a good veggie and didnt spike my sugar at all. Just have it as a normal cooked dish. As always check with your gynac if you have any specific condition.
