Guava season is on and i could eat them daily, im 22 weeks. My mom worries it might cause cold or cough. Are they actually good to have during this time?
Guava is wonderful in pregnancy, full of vitamin C and fiber which helps with constipation. I ate it through both my pregnancies. Just wash it well and dont eat too much if you have a sensitive tummy.
Guava is good but it does have natural sugar, so I kept my portions moderate since I had GD. Whole fruit is better than juice. If sugar is a concern just watch the amount.
