Urine tests only detect hCG hormones, not the location of the pregnancy. If you have any sharp pain or spotting, please contact your gynac immediately as ectopic can be dangerous.
Wait, really? I always thought urine tests only show if you are pregnant or not, not where the baby is. I think only a doctor's ultrasound scan can tell you that.
I tracked this on my pregnancy app and it said urine tests can't differentiate. Only an early transvaginal ultrasound done by a doctor around 6 weeks can confirm an ectopic pregnancy.
