Having loose motions since yesterday and someone at home suggested eldoper. Im 12 weeks so im scared to take anything without checking. Planning to call my gynac but wanted to know if anyone took it.
Haha, pregnancy does weird things to our digestion, but please don't pop an Eldoper without your doctor's green light! It's better to stick to simple curd-rice and check with your clinic first.
I completely panicked when I had loose motions during my pregnancy and wanted to take Eldoper immediately. But my gynac strictly told me to avoid taking it on my own because it's not always recommended. Please call your doctor before taking any such pills.
Upset stomach is so exhausting, especially if you already have morning sickness. But Eldoper is generally avoided in pregnancy unless specifically prescribed. Drink plenty of liquids like buttermilk or ORS to stay hydrated and ask your doctor for a safe alternative.
Avoid taking Eldoper directly as it might not be safe. Instead, try drinking simple lemon-salt water or electoral, and eat boiled potatoes or curd-rice. If it doesn't stop, just consult your doctor.
Stop! Do not take Eldoper on your own. Pregnancy is not the time to self-medicate. Call your gynac right away, and in the meantime, keep drinking ORS and coconut water to prevent dehydration.
