Constipation has been really bad for me this pregnancy and someone suggested an enema. Im a little hesitant about doing it while pregnant. Has anyone here used it, was it ok?
For constipation, try fibre, water, fruits and a little walking first, that usually sorts it. Enema isnt something to do by yourself in pregnancy. If nothing works, ask your doctor for a safe option.
Beta dont go for such things on your own. For loose motions of the bowel, soaked raisins, papaya in moderation and lots of water help naturally. Anything more, only after asking your doctor.
I would really not do an enema on your own during pregnancy. If you are struggling with constipation, please talk to your gynac first, they will suggest a safe way. Dont self treat with this.
This is one where you should not decide on your own. Some are done in hospitals before delivery under supervision, but otherwise check with your gynac. Constipation can usually be handled with diet and water first.
