I came across this name in some cold medicine and im 2 months pregnant so being extra careful with everything now. Dont want to take anything wrong. Planning to ask my gynac too but wanted to hear from u all first.
Please dont take ephedrine on your own during pregnancy. Its not something to self medicate, it can affect heart rate and BP. Whatever your symptom is, call your doctor and let them prescribe a safe option.
This is really a doctor decision, not a community one. Some medicines that seem harmless arent ok in pregnancy. Ring your gynac and ask specifically before taking it.
Honestly anything with ephedrine I would not touch without the gynac saying yes. Lots of cold and cough medicines have hidden ingredients that arent pregnancy safe. Always show the doctor the medicine first.
