Kept reading about estrogen and hormones during pregnancy and now im curious how it affects things. Not on any treatment, just trying to understand my own body better. Anyone know about this?
During my IVF i was given estrogen support along with progesterone as part of the protocol. It helps build the lining in those cases. But its strictly doctor prescribed, never something to take on ur own, ok.
This is purely a doctor decision, not a self prescribe thing. If someone advised it, follow ur gynac's exact instructions. Dont take hormones without proper guidance.
Estrogen rises naturally and is important in pregnancy, my doctor explained. As a medicine its only given in specific situations like fertility treatment and under close supervision. So it depends entirely on ur case and ur doctor's call.
