Around 7 weeks and I feel like sleeping the whole day, even after 9 hrs of sleep im totally drained. Cant focus on anything. Is this much tiredness normal in the start or should I worry?
Omg, is it ever! I feel like I could sleep for days and I'm only in my first tri. I thought something was wrong with me, but everyone says it's normal. Does it get any better in the second trimester, or am I just doomed to be sleepy forever? 😫
Extreme fatigue? Oh, honey, that's like the unofficial first symptom! I practically hibernated through my first trimester. Now in my third, I'm just chronically tired, but in the beginning, it was like a truck hit me every day. So yes, totally normal! Hang in there.
I'm in my second trimester now, but in the first, I was constantly drained, like I'd pulled all-nighters for weeks! It made me so worried, thinking I wasn't strong enough. Did anyone else feel this absolute exhaustion where even small tasks felt like huge mountains to climb?
Oh, I was exactly like this! I literally felt like I'd run a marathon just by walking to the kitchen. I panicked thinking something was wrong, but my gynac reassured me it's totally normal because your body is making a whole new human! Just listen to your body and rest.
Many women experience fatigue, but if you feel it's truly *extreme* and debilitating, it's always best to mention it to your gynac. They might want to check your iron levels or other vitals just to be safe. It’s always better to be cautious.
While fatigue is generally very common, 'extreme' can sometimes point to other things like low iron. I had some complications, so I always say check with your doctor. It's better to rule out anything serious than to just assume it's normal fatigue. Get your bloods checked.
