I have been taking this for my anxiety since before i got pregnant and now im 9 weeks. Bit worried about continuing it, i will definitely talk to my gynac but wanted to hear if anyone else was on it during pregnancy.
First, it is okay to need this kind of help during pregnancy, please dont feel guilty. But this is a medicine question that really must go to your doctor, never stop or continue on your own. My psychiatrist and gynac worked together to decide what was safe for me.
Honestly I wouldnt take any decision on antidepressants from a forum. Whether to continue, change or adjust the dose is something only your treating doctor can judge for your situation. Please ring them before changing anything.
I was on medication for a condition during pregnancy and my doctors monitored me closely the whole time. The key is never stopping suddenly and being fully honest with both doctors. Please loop in your gynac and prescriber, this is not a DIY thing.
