My nose stays blocked all the time and i was using a fluticasone spray before pregnancy for it. Now im 13 weeks and not sure if i can continue. Will check with doc also but wanted to know if anyone used it safely.
Please dont start or continue any nasal spray without asking your gynac first. Some are considered okay in pregnancy but it depends on your situation and dose, only your doctor can confirm. Carry the bottle and show them the name.
I had to run every single medicine by my doctor during pregnancy, even sprays. Nasal congestion is super common in pregnancy though, hormones cause it. Ask your gynac, they might suggest safe options like saline rinses first.
I only ever used saline drops for my blocked nose after my doctor said okay. For medicated sprays I really cant advise, please ask your gynac with the exact name. Safer that way.
Dont guess on prescription stuff. I had a blocked nose whole pregnancy and my doctor told me a simple saline spray was safest for me. For fluticasone specifically you must ask your own gynac, dont rely on us.
