I use garlic in almost every dish but my saas said avoid too much during pregnancy. Now im not sure if thats true or just an old belief. Anyone know if it's actually a problem? im 11 weeks.
In our village, we always add garlic to food because it helps with digestion and gas during pregnancy. It is very safe in normal food, so please don't worry. Just don't eat too much raw garlic, as it can make your stomach hot.
Honestly, I survived on garlic bread during my early pregnancy because everything else made me throw up, haha. It's completely safe in normal food amounts, just don't go eating raw cloves like crazy. Ask your gynac if you get bad acidity from it though!
Haan na, garlic se cooking me taste kitna achha aata hai, toh ignore kaise karein! It is totally safe in daily food like rasam or tadka, but excess raw garlic can cause heavy acidity. Just keep it normal in your ghar ka khana and enjoy.
Garlic is absolutely fine and actually very good for immunity when used in daily cooking like dal or sabzi. Just avoid taking garlic supplements or eating too much of it raw, as it can cause heat and acidity. Keep it moderate and simple in your home meals.
Don't worry, dear, having garlic in your daily meals is completely safe and won't harm the baby at all. Just make sure you don't overdo it if you are prone to heartburn or acid reflux, which is very common in pregnancy. Take care and eat whatever home-cooked food feels good to you.
