Acidity is very bad at night and someone suggested Gaviscon, but I am not sure about taking it in pregnancy. I am 18 weeks and will ask my doctor also. Has anyone used it after gynac approval?
I had bad acidity too but I never took any antacid without asking my doctor first. Please dont self take it, just call ur gynac and confirm the exact one and dose, every pregnancy is different.
Antacids are often allowed in pregnancy but the specific brand and amount should come from ur doctor, not from us. I had acidity too and my gynac told me which one to take. Pls just ask her.
I know acidity in pregnancy is the worst, I suffered a lot. For meds though I always checked with my gynac. Meanwhile small frequent meals and not lying down right after eating helped me a bit.
Honestly I wouldnt rely on a forum for a medicine question. Some antacids are fine in pregnancy but only ur doctor can okay that particular one for u. A quick call to the clinic will sort it.
