I love those jelly sweets and some gummy vitamins have gelatin in them. Now im 10 weeks and suddenly worried about everything i eat. Is it okay to have or should i just avoid?
Edible gelatin used in food is considered safe in pregnancy. If u follow a veg diet u might prefer agar based options instead, thats a personal choice. Anything specific to your diet, just confirm with your doctor.
Normal gelatin in sweets, jelly, gummies etc is fine yaar, its cooked and processed. I ate plenty of jelly when I had no appetite. Just stick to known brands and dont overdo sugary stuff.
Haha I survived on jelly cups during my nausea phase. The gelatin in store food is totally safe, its the raw uncooked stuff u avoid. Honestly it was one of the few things I could keep down.
Gelatin itself is fine but watch the sugar, most jelly and gummies are loaded with it. I had to keep my sugar in check so I limited those. If u dont have that issue then enjoy in moderation.
