Is getting a cold after ovulation a pregnancy symptom?
Im in my tww and caught a runny nose and slight cold 3 days after ovulation. Trying not to read too much into it but my mind is going everywhere. Did anyone notice this before their bfp?
I am in my 18th week now, and I also had a runny nose right after ovulation and wondered if it was a symptom. It turned out to be positive for me! Did anyone else here also get a severe blocked nose during early pregnancy, or is it just me?
Omg, I remember searching the exact same thing during my two-week wait and getting so stressed! Actually, immunity does drop slightly after ovulation, which can make you catch a cold easily. Just try not to overthink every little sneeze, though I know it is so hard to stay calm!
Look, a cold can just be a normal viral infection too, so don't read too much into it. Just wait for your period date and do a home test if you miss it. For now, drink ginger tea and don't take any heavy medicines without asking a doctor.
Don't worry too much about whether it is a symptom or not right now. Just do steam inhalation and drink warm tulsi-ginger water to get relief from the cold. Take a pregnancy test only after your period is actually late by a week to get a proper result.
I literally just had my baby and I vividly remember having a mild cold and stuffy nose right before my missed period. It is actually called pregnancy rhinitis sometimes because of the hormones! So yes, it definitely can be an early sign.
Haan na, even my bhabhi got a cold right before she tested positive. Hormones change quickly so immunity thoda down ho jata hai. Just drink warm water and rest, ho na.
It is very common to feel under the weather when implantation is happening because your body is adjusting. Just take plenty of rest and keep yourself warm. It could be a positive sign, so stay hopeful and happy!
Oh, this brings back so many memories of that anxious waiting period! Your body is preparing for a beautiful miracle, so its immunity naturally goes down to protect the embryo. Your feelings and physical symptoms are completely valid, just hold on and take care of yourself.
