My mom keeps saying til oil is good and adds it in food, but i also read somewhere to be careful with it in pregnancy. Now im confused which is right. Anyone using gingelly oil regularly?
For cooking its perfectly fine in regular amounts. I prefer natural oils too. Just dont take it in large medicinal doses thinking it helps something, and for anything specific ask your doctor first.
Beta sesame oil in food is fine and good in small amounts as we always used it. Some elders say avoid eating too much of certain warming things in early months. Just keep it normal cooking quantity and you neednt worry.
We use gingelly oil a lot in cooking down south and my amma said it is warming and good in moderation. I used it for cooking through pregnancy without any issue. Just keep it moderate and check with your doctor if you have any concern.
