Im in my first trimester and nausea is killing me. My mom makes adrak tea and it helps a lot but then my cousin scared me saying ginger is not good in pregnancy. Now im confused, is it really risky or ok in small amount?
Cooking amounts of ginger are not dangerous, we all eat it in dal and sabzi anyway. The caution is mainly about very high concentrated doses or strong ginger supplements. For chai and food, relax, its fine.
Ginger actually helped my nausea so much in first trimester, small bits in tea or just a slice. In normal kitchen amounts its generally fine. I wouldnt go overboard on big supplements though, ask doc if you mean tablets.
Adrak in chai or cooking is okay na, my MIL gave me ginger water for nausea and it helped. Bas large medicinal doses avoid karo without doctor. Haan na, moderation is the thing.
My gynac said normal food amounts of ginger are okay and can even ease morning sickness, but she told me not to take heavy ginger supplements without asking. So the answer is amount matters. Kitchen use, no problem.
