I keep hearing ginger is good for morning sickness but also that too much isnt great. Bit confused honestly. Did your gynac ever say anything about it?
I used ginger naturally in my food and a little in tea, helped settle the tummy. For everyday cooking amounts its generally fine, but for anything concentrated i'd say check with your doctor first.
A little ginger has been used at home forever for nausea, so a normal amount is nothing to fear. Just dont treat it like medicine and take heaps. Balance is the key.
My gynac actually said small amounts of ginger are commonly used to ease nausea and are usually fine. She just told me not to take large quantities or ginger supplements without asking. So in food and tea, moderate is okay.
I'd say in normal cooking amounts its okay, thats what i did. But i dont like to sound too sure since every body is different, so just confirm with your gynac. Better safe.
