My gynac wrote grenil in my prescription but i forgot to ask if its fine now that im expecting. Thoda hesitant to take without checking. Anyone here used it in pregnancy?
I am also trying to conceive right now and my doctor told me to stop taking Grenil for my regular headaches. She said we have to be very careful even before the test comes positive. Maybe you can consult your doctor for a safer tablet?
Usually, Grenil is avoided during pregnancy because of the combination of drugs in it. If you have a severe migraine, pls call your doctor instead of self-medicating. They can give you a safe pregnancy-approved painkiller.

I actually took half a Grenil tablet in my first trimester before I knew I was pregnant and I panicked so badly when I read online! My doctor calmed me down and said baby is totally fine, but told me not to take it again. So don't worry if u took it once, but yes, avoid it now and ask your gynac.
Grenil is actually a combination of paracetamol and domperidone, and domperidone is not considered fully safe during pregnancy. You should definitely consult your gynecologist before taking any multi-drug tablet. They will suggest a much safer alternative based on your trimester.
