Im around 18 weeks and getting this sharp pull in my groin area when i get up or turn in bed. Thoda tension ho raha hai. Is this a normal pregnancy thing or should i mention it to my gynac? anyone else felt this?
I felt this exact groin pain during my 5th month and got so scared initially. But my gynac explained it was just the round ligaments stretching to make space for the baby. Resting on my side with a pillow helped so much.
I am still trying to conceive, so I don't have personal experience yet. But my bhabhi had this groin pain and she said gentle warm water baths really helped her relax. Hope u feel better soon.
Oh, I used to panic over every little pull in my groin, thinking something was wrong! But my doctor reassured me that stretching is totally normal as the baby grows. Just avoid sudden movements and don't lift anything heavy.
I totally understand how tough this is, dear. Your body is doing so much beautiful work to grow your little miracle, so some groin stretch pain is normal. Just rest well and take care of your sweet self.
Oh god, same here! I get this pulling pain especially when I stand too long in the kitchen waiting for my hot parathas. I just sit down immediately, put my feet up, and eat peacefully.
It's classic round ligament pain, very normal as your uterus expands. Avoid twisting your body suddenly and try wearing a pregnancy support belt when walking. It really takes the pressure off.
Your body is preparing for a wonderful blessing, so have patience. Keep thinking positive thoughts and listen to soft music to distract yourself. Take plenty of rest, God bless you.
I am in my 22nd week and get this sharp groin pain when getting out of bed. Does it get worse in the third trimester? Right now, sleeping on my left side is the only thing giving me comfort.
Could be normal ligament stretching, but please check with your gynac once to be sure. If you have any sharp pain, bleeding, or fluid leaking, don't wait and contact her immediately.
