Im 14 weeks and craving khatta stuff so badly, hajmola sounds perfect right now haha. But then I got doubt if it's ok during pregnancy. Anyone had it, is it fine in moderation?
Listen, having one Hajmola once in a while is totally fine for that tangy taste or acidity. But don't eat the whole packet because too much black salt can cause water retention and high BP. If acidity is too much, ask your doc for a safe antacid.
Haan beta, humare yahan toh sab khaate hain thoda bohot jab acidity hoti hai. But isme namak bohot hota hai, toh bas ek-do goli hi khana, zyaada bilkul mat lena.
It is fine to have it occasionally when you feel nauseous or have gas. Just don't make it a daily habit because of the high salt content. Take care of yourself.
When I was with my parents, my mother used to give me a little bit of lemon juice with ginger for my nausea instead of Hajmola. Hajmola has too much salt which is not very good. You can have it sometimes, but ghar ke remedies are always safer.
Oh my god, I wanted to eat Hajmola so badly for my morning sickness but I kept worrying if the ayurvedic herbs or salt inside would affect my blood pressure! Honestly, if you really want it, just have one tablet occasionally. But please don't take too many, check with your gynac if you are worried like me.
Haan yaar, pregnancy me chatpata khane ka mann toh hota hi hai! Honestly, ek ya do Hajmola kha sakte ho digestion ke liye, koi problem nahi hai. But roz-roz mat khana na, because of high salt/sodium which is not good for BP.
