I get acidity a lot these days and out of habit I popped a hajmola yesterday, then suddenly thought maybe I shouldnt have. Im just 6 weeks. is it actually safe or no? anyone knows?
A bit of hajmola is alright to settle the stomach occasionally, beta. But traditional jeera water or warm fennel tea is much safer and better for digestion during these delicate months. Take care of your diet.
One or two is fine for temporary relief from morning sickness, but don't make it a daily habit. It has high salt which isn't great if you develop blood pressure issues later. Stick to simple ginger tea or lemon water instead.
It has a lot of salt and chatpata spices, which can increase your sodium intake. Having one occasionally for nausea is fine, but don't eat them like candy. Safe walking after meals is a much healthier way to digest food.
Yes, it is fine to have a couple if you feel extremely bloated or nauseous! I used to keep them in my purse during early pregnancy. Just keep it in limit and focus on fresh, healthy home food for the baby's strength.
