My gynac mentioned hcg injections during my last visit because of some issue she found. I got a little nervous hearing injection and didnt ask much. Anyone here had these, how was your experience?
This is purely a doctor's decision, please dont self administer anything like this. It was given to me for a specific reason and monitored closely. Talk to your gynac about whether you actually need it.
In my IVF journey hcg injections were part of the protocol but always under strict doctor supervision. It's not something to take or decide on your own. Your fertility doctor knows if and when it's needed for you, please go only by them.
My doc explained hcg support is used in certain fertility and early pregnancy cases, but only when prescribed. The dose and timing are very specific. So this is something only your treating doctor should guide, never on your own.
