My BP reading came high once at clinic and now I am scared it means something serious. I will recheck and speak to doctor, but I want to know if anyone had occasional high reading. Did it settle later?
I used to get so tense at every BP check which ironically raised it more lol. But seriously, if it's actually high your gynac will guide u, dont ignore it and dont self diagnose online either.
Beta high BP is something to take seriously but also manageable when the doctor is watching it. Keep your salt in check, rest, and never skip your checkups. Any sudden swelling or headache, call them.
It's common enough that they check your BP every single visit, that itself tells u it matters. A little fluctuation can happen but high BP needs the doctor managing it, dont try to handle it at home.
High BP is NOT something to take lightly in pregnancy please. I had it and the doctor monitored me very closely because of risk of preeclampsia. If your readings are high, contact your gynac right away.
My doctor explained that some mild rise can happen but consistently high BP needs proper attention, they watch for preeclampsia. Things like headache, swelling, blurry vision with high BP, get checked immediately.
