I joined hot yoga before we started trying and now I am not sure if I should continue in the two week wait. I feel good after class but it gets really sweaty and heated. Did your doctor say anything about this while TTC?
Ho na, actually heat is not very good when you're trying to conceive. It can affect things, I've heard. Maybe for a little while, you can do regular yoga, not the hot one? Just to be on the safer side, you know. Your doctor will give the best advice, ho na.
Hot yoga? Oh god, I just want five minutes of uninterrupted sleep, forget hot yoga! But seriously, I remember reading that high body temp is not good for conception. So maybe skip the 'hot' part and just do normal yoga for a bit? Your gynac will definitely know best, yaar.
See, normally mild exercise is good, it helps your body. But hot yoga, with all that heat and sweating, might not be the best idea when trying to conceive. I'd personally stick to regular yoga or light walks. Always a good idea to ask your doctor about specific exercises, especially now.
Honestly, when I was trying to conceive, my doctor specifically told me to avoid anything that drastically increases my core body temperature. So no hot baths, no saunas, and definitely no hot yoga. It's better to be cautious at this stage, so please check with your gynac first!
Beta, when you are planning to conceive, every little thing matters. Hot yoga increases your body's temperature quite a bit. It's always best to discuss such activities with your doctor, especially if you have any underlying conditions like thyroid, or even otherwise. They can guide you properly.
