Is intercourse safe during first month of pregnancy?
Just got my positive test, im in the very early weeks. Me and husband are thoda unsure if its okay or we should wait. A bit scared honestly, dont want to risk anything. Anyone who can share their experience?
Since I had PCOS and conceived after a long time, I was very careful and decided to avoid it in the first month. Usually, it is safe if you don't have any pain or spotting, but it is always best to ask your gynac first.
I completely understand how stressful these doubts can be, and it's totally normal to worry. If your doctor hasn't mentioned any complications like bleeding or low-lying placenta, it is usually safe, but asking your gynac will surely give you peace of mind.
Generally, the baby is well-cushioned inside so it is safe, but with twins, my doctor put a strict 'no entry' sign from day one! If you have a normal single pregnancy, it's fine, but do ask your doc to be sure.
It is safe for most normal pregnancies, but please clarify this with your doctor during your first confirmation scan. That scan is super important anyway to check the baby's heartbeat, so just ask them then to avoid any risks.
I felt so terrified of doing anything that might hurt the baby in the first few weeks. Even though my gynac said it was safe, my mind was just not ready, so we waited. It's completely okay to take your time and do what feels right.
Please be very careful, especially in the first trimester. Because I had some bleeding complications early on, my doctor strictly advised complete pelvic rest. You must ask your gynac if it is safe for your specific case.
