Is it common to have white discharge during pregnancy?
Im around 14 weeks and noticing more white discharge than usual these days. No itching or smell or anything. just wanted to check is this normal for most of u or should i mention to my gynac?
Increased white discharge is totally normal due to high estrogen levels. As long as it doesn't smell bad or cause itching, you don't need to worry. If it changes color or irritates, just drop a message to your gynac.
Hey, don't stress too much! Almost every pregnant woman deals with this extra discharge, it's like a daily struggle. Just keep panty liners handy if it feels too wet, but make sure to change them often.
I am currently planning my pregnancy and reading about this. Is it a symptom that starts very early in the first week itself? It's so helpful to see you all confirming it's normal!
Yes, it is very common. When I was staying with my parents, my mother told me it's just the body's way of preventing infections. Just make sure to wear comfortable cotton underwear and keep the area dry.
While mild white discharge is normal, please be careful. I had a severe yeast infection during my second trimester which started as thick discharge. It is always better to get it checked by your doctor during your routine visit to be safe.
