Is it compulsory to take first urine for pregnancy test?
I bought a kit and the box says use morning urine but i got impatient and want to test in the afternoon. Will it still be accurate or do i really have to wait till tomorrow morning? My period is 2 days late.
I tested at night once and got a faint line, panicked, then morning test was clear positive. So yeah morning is better to avoid that confusion. Saves you the tension honestly.
Its not compulsory but the first morning urine is most concentrated, so the hCG is easier to detect, especially early on. My doctor suggested using it for an accurate result. Later in the day it can dilute and give false negative if youre testing early.
Not strictly needed but morning urine gives the clearest line, especially if its early days. If your period is well missed any time works fine. I always did mornings to be sure.
