I used to do a little walking and stretching before but now im scared to move too much, second trimester just started. Everyone at home tells me to rest fully. Honestly confused, did exercise help anyone here or is rest better?
Yes if your doctor clears it. I kept up gentle walks and prenatal yoga and it really helped my mood, sleep and back pain. Just avoid heavy or risky workouts and listen to your body.
Staying active with walks honestly helped me towards a smooth normal delivery, I felt stronger. Nothing intense, just regular movement. It worked for me but everyone's case is different.
