Saw kiwi at the fruit shop and picked some up, i usually dont eat it much. Im in my first trimester and trying to add more fruits. Is it a good one to have now? pls share.
Loved kiwi during my pregnancy yaar, that little sour sweet taste was perfect when nothing else felt good. It is healthy too so no guilt. Eat it fresh and you are sorted.
Yes kiwi is great, full of vitamin C and fibre which helps with the constipation that comes in pregnancy. I added it to my fruit bowl every morning. Just wash it well before eating.
Kiwi is a good fruit in pregnancy, lots of vitamin C and folate. In moderation it is totally fine. If you have any allergy history with fruits then just mention it to your doctor.
It is a nice fruit, my doctor encouraged a variety of fruits and kiwi was on the list. Just have it washed and fresh. A mix of fruits is always better than only one kind.
