I am around 6 weeks and my family wants me to come for a small function in another city. Travel would be by car for 4-5 hours and I am feeling okay except nausea, bas thoda tension ho rahi. Has anyone travelled this early, or did your gynac ask you to avoid?
Honestly the safest answer is what your own gynac says, because she knows your case. Generally early travel is allowed if everything is smooth, but if you have nausea or any risk factor she may suggest waiting a bit.
I am 9 weeks and was wondering the same thing actually. I have a wedding to attend by train. Anyone travelled by train this early? Was it okay for you?
I had to travel for work meetings till my 3rd month, totally managed it. Keep water and some snacks handy, take washroom breaks, dont sit stiff for hours. If flight, walk a little in the aisle. But yeah a quick doc okay first is smart.
Mostly its fine in early months if your pregnancy is normal. With both my kids I travelled till 3rd month easily. Just avoid long bumpy road trips and carry your reports. One thing only ask your gynac once before booking, esp if you had any spotting.
I would say pls check with your doctor first. My first trimester was a bit unstable so my gynac told me no long travel for few weeks. Every pregnancy is different na, so dont go just by what others did.
