My family lives far away, and I might need to travel by flight during my pregnancy. Is it generally considered good or safe to travel in a flight during pregnancy? I'm in my second trimester.
Mera toh PCOS pregnancy tha so I was super careful and avoided flying till my first trimester was over. Gynac se fit to fly certificate mandatory hota hai anyway, unse check karva lo. Better to be safe than sorry.
Beta, flight travel is usually fine but u must ask your gynac first. If you do travel, keep some ginger candies or lemon water with you to help with any sudden nausea. Avoid lifting any heavy bags and drink lots of water during the journey.
Honestly flight travel can be very tough if u have bad morning sickness like I did. Keep those sick bags ready and carry simple dry snacks like biscuits or makhana. Don't book long flights if u can avoid them, it's just too exhausting.
If your doctor has given you the green signal, then go for it! I traveled in my second trimester too. Just make sure to do light ankle movements in your seat and walk a bit in the aisle so your blood circulation stays good.
I traveled during my 6th month and it went fine, just used a good lumbar cushion for support. But keep things light and don't exert. Now post C-section I realize how important it is to rest your body before the big day, so plan accordingly.
Haan na, doctor se ek baar permission le lo safety ke liye. Second trimester me travel karna best hota hai waise, tab energy rehti hai thodi. Bus flight me beech me thoda walk karte rehna.
